Design and Display

The Infinix Note 7 Lite design bears similarities with the standard Infinix Note 7.  you have got a chassis design that passes as an upgrade over last year’s Infinix Note 6.

Despite the similarities in design, there are still some obvious elements that tell you both smartphones are different. You have got a smaller display and also a different rear camera arrangement.

The Infinix Note 7 Lite features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display which is about 0.3-inch smaller than the display on its more premium sibling. This display has a screen resolution of 720 x 1640 and a screen density of 266 ppi.

On the rear, you have got quad cameras arranged inside a square, in a manner that resembles that of the Infinix Hot 9. Aside from having different camera arrangements and different screen size the Infinix Note branding was also shifted from center to the left position.

The Cameras

The cameras of the Note 7 Lite takes after the Note 7. Majority of the rear cameras bear the same sensors, however, there is a drop in the pixel size of the front-facing camera.

Its quad-camera setup comprises of a 48MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera, a 2MP depth camera and a QVGA camera for low light photos.

The camera assembly combines with the impressive 6 element lens system to ensures you get a near professional grade photography.

The depth sensor enables background blurring while the micro camera captures all the details. This setup is capable of shooting photos in HDR, Panorama and also videos capped at 1080p @ 30fps.

Selfies are manned by an 8MP camera as opposed to the 16MP camera on the Note 7. This camera is also capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30fps.

Hardware and Software

Hardware-wise, you won’t be missing much. The only drawback here is the absence of 6GB RAM variant. Just think of it like you are purchasing the standard 4GB / 64GB variant on the Infinix Note 7.

Encased on this Android phone, is a downgraded chipset compare to the Note 7. Here you get an  Octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 MT6762 processor, PowerVR GE8320 graphics processing unit, 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage and a non-removable 5000 mAh Li-Po battery.

On the software side, you have got the XOS 6.0 interface on top of the Android 10.0 operating system.


The Infinix Note 7 Lite features a 3.5mm headphone jack, a version 2.0 Micro-USB port, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0.

Internet connectivity on the Infinix Note 7 Lite is capped at 4G LTE. which means downloads and streaming will be capped at 4G speeds.
