Design and Display
Locating design trade-offs on the Infinix Hot 10 lite in reference to the standard Hot 10 would be near impossible, as both smartphones bear the same design and build.
The Build on this mobile phone comprises of plastic on the rear and on the frame, as well as glass upfront. As you might have already guessed, there isn’t any IP rating on this device, which means it isn’t water or dust resistant.
The color variants available here include Obsidian Black, Amber Red, Moonlight Jade, Ocean Wave.
For placements, we have a square camera that houses triple cameras and an LED flash. Also on the rear is a capacitive fingerprint sensor, the Hot and the Infinix branding, which indicates its an Infinix Smartphone.
Upfront, we have a 6.6-inch IPS TFT display which is about 0.18-inch smaller than the display on the standard Hot 10. This display bears a resolution of 720 x 1600 and is home to a punch hole housing a selfie camera.
The Cameras
The cameras saw a drop coming from the more premium Hot 10. It went from a 16MP primary camera on the rear, to be a 13MP primary camera on the Hot 10 Lite.
The other members of the rear cameras in the rear camera department are two QVGA cameras, which sums up the number of rear cameras to three, as opposed to quad cameras on the standard Hot 10. This setup is capable of shooting videos maxed at 1080p @ 30fps.
For selfies, we have an 8MP commanding the front camera setup. This camera is also capable of shooting videos maxed at 1080p @ 30fps.
Hardware and Software
On the performance side, we have got a tuned down setup, which explains the reason behind the Lite moniker.
For starters, the MediaTek Helio G70 processor on the standard Hot 10 was replaced with a MediaTek Helio A20 processor, which is a less powerful processor. Honorable mentions to the Ulefone Armor X7 Pro which also features this processor.
Ther other performance facilitators include 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, as opposed to the 3GB RAM / 64GB configuration on the standard Hot 10. The battery on here also saw a minor drop from being 5200 mAh to being 5000mAh.
